Our Bonding Trip

A couple of Saturdays ago my roommates and I decided to go to Jackson Hole wyoming. We got up super early on a saturday (well at least early for me) and got ready to go. Rose drove while Stacey rode shot gun and I got the back all to myself. Very soon into our Journey I was asleep. I wake up about an hour and a half later to Rose and Stacey talking about how we are lost. We wander around in the middle of nowhere for a long while and then see a patrol place and we drive up to ask where the heck we are. The man laughs at us as we are driving up. I role down my window so I can hear him as well. We are nowhere near where we wanted to be. We start driving trying to decide what to do. Thats when Rose and Stacey start yelling at me because I rolled down the broken window. Now the window won't role back up so we are stuck with the cold air coming into the car. While they decide where to go I am trying to push the window back up. Eventually I got it up and we decided to go to Idaho Falls. While in Idaho Falls we walked around this pretty park thing and tried to use the bathroom because we all had to go. The bathrooms were locked for winter. Go figure. We ended up at the Visitors center of the Idaho Falls Temple. We used the bathroom and then watched the Joseph Smith movie. We also watched another short video. After that we got lunch, and went back home.

So it we ended up at the temple though that was not our plans. Not a bad palce to end up however. The down side is that instead of taking about 30 minutes to get to Idaho falls. We took two hours.

Over all, we had a very enjoyable time.
We had to pee!!

Halloween away from home.

For all of those who have not seen Dirty Dancing (With Patrick Swayze) then you wont understand my costume. For Halloween Stacey and I decided to dress up as Johnny(Me) and Baby(Stacey). So we wore the really high waisted tight jeans. Mine were black with a black button shirt. Stacey has a white shirt she tied and she made her hair super curly. Katie from next door put my hair into a guyish style and used soooo much hairspray. So our outfits were complete.

We decided to go to out roommate Rose's cousin's party. They had really good food and we ate a lot of it. There were two guys there. Both so nerdy and rockin out to the music. Stacey and I tried not to laugh. One of the boys was staring at me the entire time. We decided he was either checking out the competition, or thought I was attractive. Either one is weird but so very funny. After we stole as much candy and we could (I had it in my sleeves of my sweatshirt) we came back home.

I took my bobbybins out and my hair was stuck how it was from all the hairspray! So I showered and got that taken care of. Stacey and I then watched a movie and just hung out.

It seems like it would have been boring, but it really wasn't. Stacey and I always have fun together.
Oh yeah and right now as I'm writing this, I can look out the window and see that it is kinda sorta snowing.

Tomorrow sure will be fun.....

So much hairspray!

My, I'm going to eat you, face

My very odd Saturday.

So yesterday our friend from next door named Katie came over. She asked if any of us would go with her to get pictures taken with her. We asked her why, where, and with whom? She said because there's an Asian guy who doesn't have a lot of friends and he wants to take pictures of me but I told him I wouldn't go alone. He just wanted to take these pictures for fun. So Stacey agreed to go (still not sure why) and I wasn't going to let them go alone, so I agreed to go as long as I took mace. So later that day this guy came and picked us up and took us to some park outside of town. He was a bad driver and I was sure we were going to die. But we didn't. So when we got there we spent two hours taking pictures. He posed us and had us do different things. Weirdest day of my life. It was very comical. After that he took us to some farm and took pictures there. And then to the railroad tracks. We left at about 3:00 and didn't get home until 6:00.

It was very awkward. Katie said she's going to count it as community service.

He took over 300. Take a look on my page. I put some of the pictures up.

My Weekend with Lawren-Dee

Lawren Whipple came up for the weekend and slept on our couches. We started off on friday by going out to eat (haven't done that in such a long time!) and then that night Stacey, Lawren, and I decided to go walk around and take pictures. We took some in the gardens, some at the park. Then we went to Hoggie Yogie and Lawren found plastic in her milkshake. Gross. Then we came home and watched The Best Two Years. Well I watched it, they slept.

Saturday morning Lawren and I got in the car and drove around until we found this farm/field that was giving away free potatoes, but we had to go pick them up in the field. We got super dirty and had to run away from big trucks but we got 6 bags of potatoes! Later we all went shopping(I can eat now!) and then Lawren's parents paid for us to go to dinner. It was Me, Lawren, Stacey, and Caitlin. It was so nice of them and the food was amazing! That night We went to guitars unplugged which I loved! It was super awesome!

That night we did crazy random things. Stacey, Lawren and I all slept on the couches that we put together to make a little crib/playpin. Sunday we went to sacramentmeeting but then Lawren had to go.

This was probably the best weekend yet! I can't wait until thanksgiving to see her again :-)

I got my english essay back and got a 92. Made me happy!

Sunday Dinner

This past sunday our apartment decided to team up with the girls next door and have dinner. They had the main dish and we had to come up with a side dish.

So our little Caitlin, being so creative, made potatoes. Every potluck we've had, we always bring mashed potatoes. The positive side to this is that Caitlin makes bomb mashed potatoes. So we get home after church and Caitlin starts whipping those together. Stacey then makes some corn(we love us some corn). I, however, cannot for the life of me remember what I was doing during this time. I know I peeled some potatoes. After that I am at a lost. I'm thinking I fell asleep, but I'm not so sure I did. Anyway we drag our table and chairs next door and set up. With a nice/Odd candle with Christ on it burning on the middle of our table, we had meatloaf sandwiches (amazing), Veggies+ our corn, Mashed Potatoes, some weird salad thingy and for dessert we had frosted crackers.

All in all it was a very nice night and I loved eating somewhat of real food. Of course when we got home I did all the dishes (what else is new?).

Also Linda Wagnon stopped by late that night. I was wonderful seeing her and she brought really good cookies!

Pictures from our dinner are posted around. Enjoy!
